​1. When should I book my preservation?

Orders can be placed at any time, but because every piece is custom and made by hand, we recommend reaching out at least 1–2 months before your event so we can confirm availability. For last-minute requests, feel free to contact us — we may be able to accommodate!

2. How do I start the process?

Choose your items on the shop page and select your method of payment. Orders are paid in full at checkout, but you may choose to split your payment into 4 easy installments at no extra cost. Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with detailed shipping instructions. After your event, send your flowers the next business day following our guidelines (no later than 3 days after the event).

Customers are responsible for flower shipping. We provide detailed instructions to ensure safe arrival. If you are local to Delaware, you may also schedule a flower drop-off by appointment.

Customers are responsible for covering the cost of shipping their flowers to J Luxe Decor. Once your piece is complete, we cover and arrange secure shipping back to you. Please email LetsCreate@JLuxeDecor.com if you are local to Delaware for flower drop-off.

3. What is the current turnaround time?

Our average turnaround is 3–6 months from when your flowers are received. This may vary depending on order volume. We’ll keep you updated at key stages and reach out if any issues arise.

 

4. Can you preserve flowers that are already dried?
Yes! We can work with pre-dried flowers, but they require different handling. Once you place your order, we’ll send specific shipping instructions. ​

5. How do flowers change when preserved?
Not all flowers dry the same way. Reds can deepen, whites may turn ivory, and flowers, like orchids may become more translucent. Some flowers may also develop clear spots once set in resin. The process of drying flowers can take up to 4 weeks to dry. If you have any specific concerns? Let’s chat before booking!

6. Do you offer color correction?
Yes! Our hand-painted color correction service enhances faded petals and restores them to their original vibrancy. This can be added for an additional $100 anytime before your design is finalized.

7. Will my resin piece last over time?
Yes! We use high-quality resin designed for durability. To maintain clarity, keep your piece out of direct sunlight and extreme heat, as these can cause yellowing. Over time, all resin develops a subtle warm tone for a vintage look.

8. What happens to any extra flowers?
Unused flowers can be returned for a $20 shipping fee if requested at the time of drop-off. If you'd rather have them preserved, additional charges apply based on the quantity—just let us know your preferences!

 

9. Do you accept international orders?

At this time, J Luxe Decor only serves customers within the United States. Shipping fresh flowers internationally is costly and may impact quality, so we are unable to accommodate international orders.

Refunds & Returns

Due to the custom nature of our flower preservation and resin pieces, we do not offer refunds or returns once work has started.

If flowers arrive in poor condition, we will reach out to discuss possible solutions such as bouquet recreation or color correction (additional fees may apply).

Order Cancellations

We understand that plans change. Here’s how cancellations are handled:

• Before your flowers arrive: Eligible for a 75% refund. The remaining 25% is a non-refundable deposit that covers preparation, scheduling, and materials.

• After your flowers are received: No refunds available, as the preservation process has begun.

• Use glass cleaner or a damp cloth and mild soap for stubborn spots such as fingerprints.​

• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives.​

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.​

• Do not place hot items directly on the holder.​

• Do not put in dishwasher (coasters, trays, all functional art pieces)​

• Check periodically for signs of wear or damage and address promptly.
